The Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra announces
its 2006-2007 season!
The Scottsdale Symphony has
announced its
2006-2007 concert schedule. Please click the link for dates
and announced soloists, and for details of our 3-for-2 season
ticket special. Concerts will once again be held
at the beautiful Grace Chapel.

you to join us for a Patriotic concert
to commemorate Independence Day
Sunday, July 2, 2006
Come and join us
at Grace
Chapel on Sunday, July 2 at 7:30 PM for the
the Scottsdale Symphony's annual Patriotic "Pops" concert. Get
in the mood for Independence Day as we perform marches, selections
from musicals, "God Bless America" (a sing-along, as arranged
by Music Director Irving Fleming and led by guest soloist
tenor Michael McCall), and, of
course, Tchaikovsky's "1812" Overture to wrap up the
concert. Admission is free so bring your family and
friends for a fun evening of music!

featuring 15-year-old violinist Jeremy Stein Cushman
Monday
and Tuesday, June 5 and 6, 2006

at Grace
Chapel on Monday, June 5 or Tuesday, June 6 at 7:30 PM to
hear the tremendous young virtuoso
violinist Jeremy Stein
Cushman. (Please click on the link for more information
about Jeremy.) He will be playing the very challenging violin
concerto by Tchaikovsky. In addition, the Symphony will be
performing Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 and the overture
to "The Marriage Of Figaro" by Mozart. The concert will get
underway by featuring the symphony's brass section playing
a new arrangement of Largo al Factotum from "The
Barber Of Seville" by Rossini.

to join us for a night of operatic vocal performances
Monday
and Tuesday, April 24 and 25, 2006

at Grace
Chapel on Monday, April 24 or Tuesday, April 25 at 7:30 PM for
grand operatic works of Wagner, Puccini, Verdi,
Mascagni, Saint-Saens, Tchaikovsky and Suppé. The vocal
soloists will be Laura Eisenhart (soprano), Robyn
Austin (mezzo-soprano), Michael McCall (tenor) and Robert
Barefield (Bass). Each will sing a solo aria, then they will
all come onstage for the concert's finale: the quartet Bella
Figlia dell'Amore from Verdi's Rigoletto.

pianist Lali Elbakidze

and Tuesday, March 13 and 14, 2006

Chapel on Monday, March 13 or Tuesday, March 14 at 7:30 PM for
a performance of Camille Saint-Saens' Piano Concerto #2 featuring
soloist Lali Elbakidze. The Symphony will also perform
two works of Mozart, the overture to "The Magic Flute" and
the Symphony #40 in G minor.

to sing along at our annual "Sing-Along Messiah"
December 18, 2005
Come and join us

Chapel on Sunday, December 18 at 7:30 PM for our
annual "Sing-Along Messiah." Bring your own score
and be part of the choir, or just sit back and enjoy

free-will offering will be taken

The Scottsdale Symphony is proud to present
our annual Patriotic Concert. Come on out to Grace Chapel
on Sunday, July 3, and get in the mood for fireworks on the 4th by
listening to music by John Philip Sousa, Leroy Anderson and
more, with our traditional
finale, the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky.
